	A leading supplier of construction materials, lumber, and more, Bimad General Trading and Contracting Co. has solidified its presence in Kuwait as a dependable major supplier of lumber (and other) products, making Bimad number one in its market. A versatile company of many facets, Bimad Co.’s management first entered the market in 1978, supplying timber, plywood, and steel to the local and regional market, specifically in Kuwait, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. In 1991, Bimad delved into new territory by starting a Real Estate Development division, which went on to execute more than 25 residential projects (which included over 400 apartments). This division lead Bimad Co. to become the bearer of several awards in recognition of its top quality, design, and efficiency. Since 2003, Bimad Co. continued to grow until it became the top lumber supplier (among many other products) to all the US Military Prime Vendors in the region of Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. From 2004 till 2010, Bimad acquired exclusive agencies for Link Middle East, (The largest manufacturer of fencing systems in the Middle East) and for Klausner (World’s largest German lumber supplier) and Bimad widened its scope to become an authorized dealer of the American Power Conversion Corp. by Schneider Electric (UPS Systems) among many others like Eaton, Elka....
